Dear sir
My friend found an Ecurie Ecosse car badge in a garage clearance and gave it to me i am sure that it is a genuine one the car emblem on the badge is raised chrome, the Ecurie Ecosse name is raised chrome and then white paint inside, the shield is raised chrome. i would like to sell this but I wouldn’t want to sell it as genuine and it isn’t. could you advise me please as to how I would know?

By your description and, how you came about the badge would appear to indicate that it is genuine. However, Ecurie Ecosse own the worldwide copyright on all our designs and we have been able to take action in some cases. Indeed if any reader comes across badges on general sale that might be copies we would appreciate information as to the manufacturer.
